New Press: “On The Cattle Trail”

Great article in the Tribune that gives you a little insight into Berndt Savig’s new body of work. To quote Dan England of the Tribune,

“…[Berndt] used the scenes [at Bell Ranch, NM] as material for his photos and paintings. He teaches art history and other classes at Red Rocks Community College and has an oil painting show coming up in August at the Sliding Door Gallery in Denver. He may, one day, make a show from the photos and paintings he will do as a result of the trip.”

Indeed he has done just that. Berndt’s exhibition “Cowboy Paintings” will up for our August 3 (First Friday) opening.
